RopeDrop Radar

Disneyland Resort

We watch the parks.
You'll hear the ping.

Tables at Blue Bayou. Lightning Lane windows. A ride that just dropped to ten minutes. RopeDrop Radar keeps a constant eye on Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, and tells you the second something you want opens up.

Free to start. No card until you upgrade.

How the radar works

You have better things to do than refresh the Disney site all day. That part is our job now.

  1. Tell the radar what you want

A table at Blue Bayou for four. Space Mountain under 30 minutes. A park reservation for your Magic Key. Takes about a minute.

  2. We keep watch

Our radar sweeps the parks around the clock, checking dining, waits, Lightning Lane, and the reservation calendar every couple of minutes.

  3. You hear the ping

The moment your thing opens up, you get a text, email, Discord, or Telegram message with a link straight to the booking page.

Everything the radar watches

One account keeps an eye on the whole resort. Set alerts for the parts you care about and ignore the rest.

The headliner

Dining reservations

Blue Bayou, Lamplight Lounge, Oga's Cantina. The tables that are never there when you look. We watch all 22 reservable restaurants for your date, party size, and time of day, and the alert includes the exact times that opened so you can jump on the one you want.

Tap the alert and you land on Disney's booking page for that restaurant, signed in and ready.

Always on

Wait times & Lightning Lane

Live waits for every attraction in both parks, refreshed every couple of minutes, with history so you can see where the day is heading. Set a wait alert and we ping you when your ride drops under your number. Lightning Lane windows and prices ride along with alerts of their own.

Magic Key calendar

The live park reservation calendar for every key tier, and alerts for the dates you need. When your date is good, one tap opens the booking flow.

Shows & showtimes

Full schedules for both parks and a reminder 30 minutes before curtain, so Fantasmic stops being the thing you remember at 9:05.

Park Mode

A live dashboard for the day you are actually there. Crowd meters, weather, what to ride next, and a log of everything you rode.

Trip planner

Plan the days, see which restaurants have tables inside your window, keep alerts and party details together, and share it with everyone going.

Menus & what to order

Full menus for around 70 spots, quick service included, with our picks for what to order. Craving something specific? Search the dish and see who serves it.

Day recap

Every ride you logged, replayed in order, with a shareable card for the group chat that skipped the trip.

Waltz on Main

Who's behind this

Made by the Waltz on Main crew

We film ride POVs, walkthroughs, and live streams at Disneyland nearly every week, and we built RopeDrop Radar because we kept missing the tables and dates we wanted. It watches for us on every trip. Now it can watch for you too.

The same live data runs a bot in our stream chat: ask it for a wait time or tonight's showtimes and it answers on the spot. Come say hi during a stream and watch it work.

The iPhone app is in testing now. Founding Members ride everything first.

Questions at the gate

What is RopeDrop Radar?

A live companion for Disneyland Resort. It watches wait times, dining reservations, Lightning Lane, Magic Key dates, and showtimes around the clock, then pings you the moment something you asked about opens up. You can sign up and start using it right now.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Explorer plan is completely free. No credit card, no trial clock, no expiration. It includes 10 active alerts plus live wait times, Lightning Lane tracking, and the Magic Key calendar. Start there and upgrade whenever you want more.

What do the paid plans add?

Planner ($4.99/mo) raises your alert limits and adds text message delivery. Pro ($8.99/mo) adds priority delivery, meaning your alerts go out first the moment we spot an opening, plus a full year of history. Both start with a 7-day free trial. The tickets board above always shows the current numbers, pulled from the same place the app reads them.

How fast are the alerts?

Our radar sweeps every couple of minutes, around the clock. When something opens, the alert goes out within moments, with the details in the message: the restaurant and exact times for dining, the ride and current wait for wait alerts. Speed matters because popular tables get grabbed fast.

How do the alerts reach me?

Email, text message, Discord, or Telegram. Pick any mix per alert. Push notifications arrive with the iPhone app, which is in testing now.

Which parks does it cover?

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, including the resort hotels’ restaurants and Downtown Disney dining. More parks are on the roadmap.

Does it book things for me?

No, and on purpose. Your Disney account stays yours. We watch, we ping you, and the alert links straight to the right booking page so you can grab it yourself in a few seconds.

What happens after the free trial?

After 7 days the trial converts to the plan you chose. Cancel any time before it ends and you will not be charged.

What is the YouTube chat bot?

The same live data runs a bot in the Waltz on Main live stream chat. Viewers ask it for wait times, dining openings, weather, and showtimes and it answers right in chat. Come by during a stream and try it.

Is this affiliated with Disney?

No. RopeDrop Radar is an independent tool made by fans, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Walt Disney Company.
